Sintel Research and Production Company LLC has many years of experience in the field of orthopaedics and cooperates with both Russian and foreign partners (universities, research institutes, manufacturing companies).

SINTEL strives for constant development, which allowed them to become a resident of the Tomsk SEZ and create on its territory a pilot production of domestic medical products for orthopaedics: endoprostheses of the hip and knee joints, oncological endoprostheses of individual manufacture, intramedullary fixators for the treatment of periarticular fractures of tubular bones, etc. The company’s production is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, which guarantees strict control and high quality of production processes over and the entire technological chain so that our products meet all the requirements and are able to compete with the products of European manufacturers.

Since 2009, SINTEL has been striving to improve the quality of life of the population, to improve methods for the treatment of joint diseases by the surgical method, and to introduce new materials and technologies into the production of orthopaedic endoprostheses. At the very beginning of our journey, we were engaged not only in improving existing materials and medical devices but also in developing our own new products for large joint arthroplasty and surgical treatment of periarticular fractures. In close cooperation with leading scientists and orthopaedic traumatologists, new design solutions for implants used in orthopaedics are being developed, and work is underway to modify the surface of the implants.

Since 2014, SINTEL has been a member of the innovative territorial cluster “Pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and information technologies of the Tomsk Region”. With the support of the Cluster, the project to develop and organize the production of sets of medical devices and instruments with a modified surface and structure for reconstructive surgery is actively developing.
