From September 17 to September 21, a delegation of Tomsk manufacturing small and medium enterprises, as part of the national project on small and medium-sized enterprises, took part in the international exhibition of technologies and equipment for metalworking “Metaltech Central Asia 2019”, which was held at the ATAKENT exhibition complex in Almaty (The Republic of Kazakhstan). The Tomsk delegation included representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises: PK MION LLC, Kvazar LLC and NPO Svobodnaya Energia LLC.

The Metaltech Central Asia Exhibition is the only specialized event in Central Asia for manufacturers, representatives and distributors of equipment, instruments, technologies and tools for the metalworking industry. Note that the metal industry today occupies a key position in the field of industrial production. New technologies in metal processing invariably attract increased attention from consumers from various sectors of the economy.

At the collective stand of the Tomsk region, negotiations were held with representatives of foreign metalworking and investment companies from China, Kazakhstan, Turkey and other countries. Also, the participants of the Tomsk delegation got acquainted with the products and technological developments of other exhibitors.

The exhibition was organized by the Kazakh company Iteca together with international partners: ITE Group Plc (Great Britain), GIMA (Germany), EUF (Turkey), ITE China (China) and others. The participation of Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises in the exhibition in the Republic of Kazakhstan was organized by the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the assistance of the Business Development Fund, the regional department for the development of innovative and entrepreneurial activities and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as part of a national project for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
