The Tomsk CCI organized a visit of a delegation of Singaporean business to Tomsk region, as part of the national project for the development of SMEs.

The Singaporean representatives became interested in products and solutions of Tomsk SMEs for promotion on the markets of South, East and Southeast Asia, and to find more about interesting projects for investment. On the first day of the visit, the organizers conducted a networking meeting for Tomsk and Singaporean businesses, including 25 Russian and Singaporean companies. The Tomsk companies presented medical devices, eco-products from wild plants, IT solutions and equipment for production projects, etc.

Further, during the business program of the business visit, representatives of Singapore will visit the Tomsk SEZ, SibGMU, and will conduct individual negotiations with companies on the profile of enterprises. Further, representatives of Singapore visited the Special Economic Zone, Siberian State Medical University and conducted individual negotiations with companies, operating in the related areas. The visit of the Singaporean business to Tomsk was organized in anticipation of signing agreement on a free trade zone between Singapore and the EAEU, which is scheduled for October 12, 2019. The event was organized by the Tomsk CCI jointly with the Business Development Fund, the Administration of the Tomsk Region and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as part of the activities of the Export Support Center.
