In the forum, representatives of Tomsk SMEs in the field of production of organic products like wild plants, products and bio-additives from peat will hold product presentations, b2b negotiations with Chinese and Mongolian representatives, and will participate in the exhibition at the Erlyan Congress Center. Today Erenhoto is the major land checkpoint on the Chinese-Mongolian border. In terms of grain imports, it is a state-level checkpoint, the same applies to the import of meat, feed, and medicinal herbs. There is also a free trade border zone, aimed at the development of trade between China, Mongolia, and Russia.
15 years back it was a provincial town on the border. Currently, it is a city with wide streets and high-rises. One of the promising development areas is the creation of the China-Mongolia-Russia trade corridor in Erenhoto. The Tomsk delegation is participating in the following forum for the second time. Tomsk food and environmental products are of great interest to Chinese and Mongolian entrepreneurs.
The Tomsk CCI organized the present business mission as part of the policy of the Center for Business Development with the support of the Administration of the Tomsk Region and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia under the national project for the development of SMEs.
