Tomsk Oblast Export Support Center is among the most effective regional export support centers

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia received a session of expert group, which included the representatives of the MED of the RF and of JSC REC, for the summary of work of regional export support centers during 2018 year and for the determination of priorities of their activities in 2019.

Federal experts highly appreciated the activity of Tomsk Oblast ESC, acting on the basis of Tomsk CCI with the support of Regional Department for the Development of Innovation and Business and the Business Development Fund.

“The Committee noted that Tomsk Oblast not only completed all KPIs of center’s activities, but also entered the group of leaders among regional export support centers concerning the volume of supported export of SMEs. Moreover, ESC exceeded the indexes on the number of SMEs, received support, concluded export contracts with the support of ESC, as well as for the first time, the number of export contracts of SMEs. In 2019, the density of the ESC events will be higher, since the export of SMEs is included in the priorities of national project “Small and Medium-Sized Business and the Support for Individual Business Initiative”, Aleksandr Belyaev, Director of the Center for FEA Development of Tomsk CCI (Regional Export Support Center), said.

Some events for the promotion of Tomsk SMEs’ products of to the markets of China, India, Mongolia, Turkey, Egypt, Vietnam, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, etc. are planned within the framework of regional program for business development.

Ps. In 2018, more than 300 Tomsk exporters received support within the framework of ESC activities, RIC-Tomsk Oblast and the point of REC presence. In 2018, the volume of supported export of Tomsk companies exceeded 1 billion rubles.
