Tomsk companies offer solutions for petroleum industry of Azerbaijan

May 29-31, the delegation of Tomsk companies visited Baku on a business trip, where they offered products and solutions for the petroleum industry.

May 29-31, the delegation of Tomsk companies visited Baku on a business trip, where they offered products and solutions for the petroleum industry. The visit program was organized by the Center for Export Support of the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Association of Small and Medium Exporters.

The Tomsk delegation included representatives of three companies, related with the following areas: production of measuring and diagnostic equipment for studying oil and gas wells, supply of chemicals for the oil and gas industry, and development of software for manufacturing enterprises.

The Tomsk companies enjoyed meetings with national industry leaders as SOCAR AQS (a unit, specialized in drilling and well servicing of the major petroleum company of Azerbaijan, SOCAR), AZFEN (a joint venture of Azerbaijan SOCAR and Turkish TEKFEN, performing engineering and construction work for the oil and gas sector), and AZNEFTEMASH (one of the major manufacturers of equipment for petroleum industry of Azerbaijan).

Along with this, the Tomsk companies held talks and exchange contacts with interested Azerbaijani enterprises, engaged in drilling and exploration of oil and gas, supply of instrumentation and chemicals to petroleum facilities and services for system integration of IT products in the industrial sector, etc.

Moreover, members of the Tomsk delegation visited the 26th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition, with nearly three hundred companies from 34 countries of the world, including Azerbaijan, Russia, Germany, Italy, France, UK, and Turkey.

During the business mission, each member of the delegation held at least 8 meetings with potential customers from Azerbaijan. As a result of the meetings, the Tomsk companies will provide Azerbaijan party with samples of their products for their testing in production.
