Tomsk CCI and Japan are expanding cooperation boundaries

On April 17, 2019 Subcontracting Center of Tomsk CCI held the presentation of joint project of “National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University” and Mitutoyo Japanese company on the creation of a Center for collective use of specialized measuring instruments and equipment for Tomsk industrial enterprises.

On April 17, 2019 Subcontracting Center of Tomsk CCI held the presentation of joint project of “National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University” and Mitutoyo Japanese company (representative office in Russia is “Mitutoyo RUS” LLC) on the creation of a Center for collective use of specialized measuring instruments and equipment for Tomsk industrial enterprises.

Founded in 1963, Mitutoyo Corporation is considered to be the recognized world leader in the production of high-precision measuring equipment, launching over 5000 types of high-tech measuring instruments on the market.

The representatives of Tomsk leading industrial enterprises like Mikran, Farmstandard-Tomskkhimfarm, MOJE Keramik-Implantate, Manotom, “Polyus” NPC etc., gathered to discuss the solutions for specific production problems.

During the presentation, the companies raised the issues of metrological support of production, the examples of form-measuring equipment successful usage, optical instruments for contactless measurements, especially taking into account current tasks for the improvement of product quality for state corporations according to Federal Act No. 223.

Holding the events of such a scale in our region became possible in 2019 thanks to the participation of Tomsk Subcontracting Center in the implementation of national project under the title “Creating a system for the acceleration of small and medium-sized enterprises”.
