Tomsk business is expanding business cooperation with Mongolia
On August 12-16 a business-mission of small and medium sized enterprises to Mongolia (Ulan-Bator), organized by Tomsk CCI with the support of Business Development Regional Fund, Tomsk Oblast Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, took place.
Eight small and medium -sized Tomsk companies took part in the business-mission. They presented confectionery products, agricultural proceedings products, sweets and goods of healthy nutrition from wild-growing plants, as well high-technology equipment and services of telecommunications sphere in Ulan-Bator.
Business program of the mission included meetings and talks in Mongolian ministries, National CCI, in large trade and manufacturing holdings of Ulan-Bator.
In the first day of business trip there were meetings and presentations in the National Ministry of food, agriculture and light industry and in the national operator office of «Mobikom» cellular service company. The Mongolian side was really interested in the production and solutions of Tomsk businessmen. The agreements on the development of issues of food products delivery to the Mongolian market were reached.
On the second day of business-mission there was an exchange of contacts between Tomsk and Mongolian enterprises in Mongolian National CCI with the participation of Maksim Vasilyev, trade representative of Russian Federation in Mongolia. Trade representative named Tomsk region one of the prospective regions for the cooperation with Mongolia and expressed hope for the promotion of trade ties of our region and Mongolian aimags (ditsricts).
In the third and fourth day of work in Ulan-Bator Tomsk residents visited enterprises according to their profiles. Large commercial networks, manufacturing holdings and national cellular providers, including NOMIN group, Mill House, Talk Chikher, G-mobile, Unitel and etc. were among the receiving companies.
The Mongolian side had a special interest in the production of SC «Micran», the representatives of which made the arrangements with national cellular operators concerning the supply of equipment for testing; confectionery products of PKP «Sozvezdiye», products of «Siberian Agrarian Group», eco-products, teas and candies from «Price-T» company (TM «Wild & Tasty»), «SIBERECO» LLC and «Sibirskaya kletchatka» LLC, as well as Tomsk ice cream.
The results of business trip have been summarized in Mongolian National CCI, and its leadership highly appreciated the potential of relations development between Tomsk Oblast and Mongolia. They also promised to give as much assistance as possible for the information distribution on Tomsk companies in country regions.
