Business mission of Tomsk enterprises to Uzbekistan was successfully completed

Seven enterprises became the participants of the business mission of small and medium-sized enterprises of Tomsk Oblast to Uzbekistan, including representatives of oilfield services companies TNPVO "Siam", "Company «Oiltim», "Oil Service Company" Siberia ", companies of the instrumental and water treatment sector" Watercom "," Ambit "and" Instrument Plus ", IT-company "ASU-Expert ".

  During this mission, which took place from May 14 to May 17, Tomsk citizens held a presentation and exchange of contacts at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited main oil and gas exhibition of the country "Oil & Gas Uzbekistan 2018", held negotiations at the enterprises of Tashkent.

  On the first day of visit, a presentation was made at the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, where Tomsk citizens presented the potential of our region and the products of Tomsk SMEs, as well as options for the development of mutually beneficial relations, to the leadership of national CCI and the representatives of trade mission of the Russian Federation.

  Zhamshed Urakov, deputy chairman of Uzbekistan CCI, noted the significant potential of business cooperation between Tomsk citizens and local enterprises, as well as the dynamic growth of foreign trade turnover indicators of Tomsk Oblast and Uzbekistan. The Uzbek side has also noted the popularity of our region in this Central Asian country and a great interest in the development of business relations between businessmen.

  Then, in the conference hall of Chamber of Commerce, Tomsk businessmen held more than 50 b2b negotiations with 25 local enterprises, which had lasted more than 3 hours. The products and services of “Vatercom”, TNPVO SIAM, Oiltim companies, and Tomsk tools and services in the field of engineering caused a particular interest. Just after the exchange of contacts Tomsk citizens were invited to the national corporation Uzbekneftegaz to present their products and services.

  During the following days of the business mission the delegation of Tomsk SMEs took part in the work of two major international exhibitions in the national exhibition center Uzexpocentre. The exhibitions "Power Uzbekistan 2018" and "Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU - 2018" are key events in the country and gather leading players of these sectors of the economy. In 2018 more than 7,000 representatives of national and international oil and gas companies and energy companies visited the exhibition. The stands of 300 companies from 28 countries were placed in three pavilions on the area of more than 5500 square meters. The exposition of Russian Export Center was also presented.

  During the exhibition at the stands of the participants, Tomsk businessmen not only presented the products to companies from Uzbekistan, but also held talks at the stands of the participants from Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkey.

  The visit to Uzbekistan resulted at the signing of agreements between "Oiltim" and "Waterkom" companies with the Uzbek side, as well as promising agreements of almost all the participants of the delegation with the enterprises of Uzbekistan.

  Business mission of Tomsk SMEs is organized by Tomsk CCI with the support of Tomsk Oblast Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia in the framework of export support center.
