Tomsk summed up the contest "The Best Exporter of the Tomsk Region 2017"

The final stage of the business forum "Tomsk business: 25 years of success and a look beyond the horizon", was the awarding of the best Tomsk export companies of the past year. Leaders of leading export enterprises, representatives of business support institutions, honorary guests and forum participants took part in the ceremony.

One hundred ten contracts were concluded with foreign companies in 2017 by Tomsk entrepreneurs from the SME sector, with the support of the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At the same time, business enters the markets of such countries, where Tomsk products have never been heard before. Today, Tomsk entrepreneurs have partnerships with 80 countries around the world. In the outgoing year, more than half of all export contracts were concluded for the promotion of high-tech products.

- In the annual national quality rating of the export environment, which is the Russian Export Center, Tomsk Oblast took the fourth place. This shows that we managed to create an effective system of exporters' support, "said the president of the Tomsk CCI Arkady Eskin. - We intend to improve this system by attracting to the support of Tomsk enterprises new federal resources and mechanisms of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Russian Export Center. The products we bring to foreign markets find the consumer in the conditions of the fierce competition, which means that it meets the world quality standards.

In 2017 applications for participation in the tender were submitted by forty Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises with experience of trading with foreign partners. The expert jury awarded the title of "The Best Exporter of the Tomsk Region 2017" to the company "Elcom +", LLC "Universal Terminal of the System" and OOO "Company Eskimo". With a congratulatory word before the participants and the winners of the competition, on behalf of the governor Sergei Zhvachkin, the Deputy Economic Governor Andrei Antonov spoke.

"We are proud of our companies that represent Tomsk in the face of foreign partners, and we hope that the victory in the contest will be an incentive for further success," said the deputy governor.

In a solemn atmosphere, Andrei Antonov awarded each representative of the winning firms a diploma of the contest and a valuable gift. This year, as a modern record player for vinyl records and the original disc of a famous artist was chosen.

- Yes, in the age of gadgets, we decided to present our finalists with vinyl, - said the president of Tomsk CCI Arkady Eskin. - Because this kind of carriers symbolizes a certain quality of life and a high level of communication culture among themselves.

On the stage of the business center "Kvantorium" a bright concert program was organized for the participants of the event. Each of the contestants received a charge of positive emotions and pleasant memories of this event.

"We are grateful for the high appraisal of our activities, we hope to justify the trust of Tomsk citizens and grow in the future to bring the bright future that we all dream about," said Alexei Kuimov, general director of OOO Universal Terminal of the System, from the stage.

This year, competitive applications filed companies from a wide range of industries - food industry, engineering, IT-sphere. Those exporters who won the best results won. Laureates of the regional contest will nominate their candidatures for all-Russian awards in the field of entrepreneurship.

The contest "The Best Exporter of the Tomsk Region" for the results of 2017 among small and medium-sized businesses was organized by the Tomsk CCI within the framework of the Regional Export Support Center with the assistance of the Tomsk Oblast Administration, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, and the Regional Development Fund for SMEs.
