  The main topics of the forum were the best practices of working in foreign markets of leading Tomsk enterprises, tools for promoting products to promising foreign markets, trends in world development in different regions of the world.

  The invited experts of the forum were the adviser to the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on international issues, the member of the Council of the Public Chamber of Russia, the leader of the "International Review" program on the "Russia-24" channel Yevgeny Primakov, the vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, JSC "Russian Export Center", heads of Tomsk innovative and manufacturing companies.

  During the Forum, a strategic session was organized and held, two discussion platforms on foreign trade and business development.

  Within the framework of the first discussion platform on the theme "CAN THE REGIONAL BUSINESS CONQUER WORLD MARKETS" On December 5, invited speakers, among whom were the RF CCI President's Advisor Georgy Petrov and the representative of JSC "Russian Export Center" Andrei Zhigalov, discussed with the Tomsk business what mechanisms support exporters are really demanded by the export-oriented business and these support mechanisms are enough for the companies to enter the international markets, which foreign partners are waiting for from Tomsk and Russian business.

On December 5, 2017, the discussion platform "Can the regional business conquer world markets" was held.

 In total, more than 30 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses took part in the discussion platform, including SIAM geotest, Interopt (TM 33 penguin), Timbergroup, IFAR, Telebriz and others.

  On December 6, the vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, a member of the expert council of the Industrial Development Fund Dmitry Kurochkin and the head of the regional policy department of the Industrial Development Fund Vladimir Ivanovich Borgardt participated in the work of the second discussion platform on the topic "EXPORT-ORIENTED IMPORT REPLACEMENT". The main issues for discussion were the ways and tools for increasing the number of successful regional business projects, achieving a new level of speed, transparency and effectiveness of interaction between government and business in the industrial sector, consolidating the efforts of Russian development institutions and regional business infrastructure.

  The discussion platform was attended by more than 20 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, including Tomsk Instrument Plant LLC, Laboratory of Optical Crystals, LLC SPE Siberian Medical Instrument, LLC MION, JSC Fiztech-Energo ", LLC" Microsplav "and others.

The session discussed the issues of import substitution and increased effect from the growth of sales volumes of export-oriented business.
