State Oil Company of Southern Sudan NILEPET showed interest to the possibilities of Tomsk business

Deputy Governor Alexander Fedeniev and President of Tomsk CCI Arkady Eskin met with the delegation of the state oil company NILEPET (The National Oil and Gas Corporation of South Sudan), which was paying a business visit to Tomsk.

  The delegation of the African state company was headed by Mr. Santo Martino Laco Modi - Director General of the Directorate of Oil and Gas Production and Exploration, delegation also included company's production service managers.

  During the meeting, Alexander Fedenev introduced the guests to the history of the region, presented the economic and innovative potential of the Tomsk region, the opportunities of Tomsk universities and companies of the oil and gas sector.

  Arkady Eskin introduced African guests to the potential of oilfield service companies operating in Tomsk, and also talked about international oil and gas projects in which Tomsk business is involved.

  The guests highly appreciated the opportunities of Tomsk developments in the oil and gas sector, construction and operation of pipelines, in particular, decisions of the company "Oilteam", and invited Russian companies to participate in projects on the African continent.

  Representatives of "Oilteam" and "Gazinformplast", which, with the support of Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Export Center, signed an agreement in 2016 on working on the NILEPET’s fields in Southern Sudan, also participated in the meeting.
