Tomsk entrepreneurs took part in an international exhibition in Azerbaijan

On June 1-2, 2017, Tomsk business delegation took part in 24th International exhibition «Neft I gaz Kaspiya» (Caspian oil and gas).

  On June 1-2, 2017, Tomsk business delegation took part in 24^th International exhibition «Neft I gaz Kaspiya» (Caspian oil and gas). This exhibition is the largest specialized national event, which unites not only oil and gas enterprises of the Caucasus region and the Middle East, but also EU, Russian and PRC enterprises. All in all 289 companies from 30 countries took part in the international exhibition. Among them there are oil and gas companies SOCAR, BP, National Iranian Gas Company, Russneft, Statoil, Total, Uzbeknefteqaz, companies of professional services - Schlumberger, Halliburton and others. Organizers’ say more than 5000 professional guests visited the exhibition.

  High level of the event is confirmed by the fact, that president of Azerbaijan Ilkham Aliev opened it.

  Tomsk delegation consisted of 10 Tomsk SMEs: ООО «ITS GazInformPlast», ООО «Tomskenergoresursproekt», ООО «Elkom+», ООО «Tsentr biometricheskikh tekhnologii», ООО «Ttade house Tomskkabel», ООО «Elprom» (GK TEK), ООО «NTTS Oiltim» and others, business program was full of events. Tomsk entrepreneurs not only worked actively at the exhibition, they also visited a number of Azerbaijan key enterprises.

  There was held a meeting with deputy energy minister of Azerbaijan Natik Abbasov, who leads the oil and gas exploration sphere, there were organized business negotiations with deputy director general on modernization of the only oil refining plant (Baku NPZ) Rasim Ibragimov. Moreover, there were held meetings with representative of the largest departments of SOCAR--«Oil and gas construction» company Rufat Dzhafarov. At the end of the trip Tomsk entrepreneurs visited Trade representation of Russia in Azerbaijan, where they had a fruitful discussion with deputy trade representative Oleg Bikmansurov.

  Azerbaijan side considered products and developments of Tomsk entrepreneurs interesting for Azerbaijan enterprises. Deputy minister Natik Abbasov said, that Tomsk is well-known with its scientific institution, so offers on oil and gas exploration and staff training will be considered with greatest attention.

  Azerbaijan side noted in particular products of OOO «Tomskkabel», solutions of «Tomskaya elektronnaya kompaniya» and company «Oiltim», «Gazinformplast».

  Yusif Abdullaev, deputy chairman of Azerbaijan-Russia business council: «Tomsk delegation presented interesting products and developments, which, I’m sure, can be popular not only on Azerbaijan market, but on others. We are interested in developing partnership with Siberian enterprises in broad range of spheres, and we are ready to organize return business mission aiming at search for enterprises, that are ready to supply their product to Azerbaijan».
