Collective stand of Tomsk region SMEs was the most visited one at exhibition “Export potential of Russian regions”

On December 8-9, 2016, Tomsk Regional Center of Export Support organized the participation of four Tomsk region SMEs in exhibition “Export potential of Russian regions” held in Omsk.

  On December 8-9, 2016, Tomsk Regional Center of Export Support with the support of Tomsk Regional Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund, Tomsk Region Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation organized the participation of four Tomsk region SMEs in exhibition “Export potential of Russian regions” held in Omsk.

  Tomsk region was represented by SMEs acting in the sphere of harvesting and processing wild crops, tea, sweets, jam and confiture production. The collective stand of Tomsk region SMEs included OOO “Zoloto Sibiri”, OOO “Aleks”, OOO “EcofudEcofud” and individual entrepreneur Korostelev I.V.

  Exhibition “Export potential of Russian regions” was a part of IV International Conference on foreign economic activity. Over 300 representatives of Russian business from more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation participated in the exhibition and the conference, as well as 7 delegations from such countries as Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, China, Bulgaria and Iran.

  Tomsk region’s stand attracted great attention of the participants and visitors with dignified look, high quality of Tomsk products and active work of Tomsk delegation. During two days of the exhibition plenty of people came to Tomsk stand to try products, exchange contacts and take commercial offers. Local and federal media noticed such popularity of Tomsk products. Omsk TV Channel “GTRK-Omsk 12 kanal” chose Tomsk stand among all the exponents for its newscast.

  Tomsk delegation highly appreciated exhibition work and expressed willingness to participate more actively in such events the next year.

  “We liked the exhibition very much, the work here was productive and comfortable. Our product received many positive feedbacks, potential partners are interested in it. For example, upon arrival in Tomsk I’m going to work on the most interesting and promising contract – supplies of pinenut candy and canned confectionary to Iran. Today we met Iran businessman – a Director General of a large Iran importer – and discussed with him preliminary conditions which pleased him a lot, so we hope that our Tomsk product is soon to be tried in Iran”, - said Sazonov Dmitriy (OOO “Ecofud”).
