Delegation of Indian businessmen visited Tomsk region

  On December 5-6, 2016, Tomsk Regional Integrated Center of Tomsk CCI organized a visit of the delegation of Indian enterprises to Tomsk in order to hold business meetings and promote Russian products for export.

  The Indian delegation included Mr. Sawarkar Abhijat, Head of ООО “DOVERIJA” and the representative of “Global HR Services”; Dr. Oril Adzheks Raju, Director General of “Fortune Med” and “Aurrum Enterprises” Pvt Ltd; Mr. Sunil Warrier, the representative of Russian-Indian company “Nevskaya Liniya” and Indian company “SK Meditech” Pvt Ltd; Mr. Sujit Sathian, the representative of “Regency Group” and “Right Ways Industries” Pvt Ltd; Mr. Dharmendra Mishra, Head of “Djiva Pharm” CJSC and “Winton Enterprises” Pvt Ltd.

  In the course of the business program there was a presentation of Tomsk region and the Regional Integrated Center’s potential with participation of A.Y. Eskin, the President of Tomsk CCI, A.N. Belyaev, the Director of Tomsk CCI Center for Foreign Economic Activity Development, Tomsk Regional Integrated Center’s experts and representatives of Tomsk region small and medium enterprises. A.Y. Eskin gave a welcome speech; A.N. Belyaev presented the economic potential of Tomsk region and the possibilities of the Regional Integrated Center. After that each representative of the Indian delegation told about their company, interests and criteria for potential partners in Tomsk region. Representatives of Tomsk region SMEs in turn described their companies.

  After the presentations representatives of Tomsk region SMEs and Indian businessmen exchanged contacts.

  After b2b meetings in Tomsk CCI Indian entrepreneurs met with Y.M. Gurdin, the Deputy Governor of Tomsk region, in the Reception House of Tomsk Region Administration.

  At the meeting Tomsk region was represented by Deputy Governor of Tomsk region for Investment Policy and Property Relations Y.M. Gurdin, Chairman of the Committee for International Cooperation and Deputy Head of International and Regional Relations Department M.N. Volkov, President of Tomsk CCI A.Y. Eskin, Director of Tomsk CCI Center for Foreign Economic Activity Development (Tomsk Regional Integrated Center coordinator) A.N. Belyaev, Director General of “Corporation Tomsk Region Development” S.N. Yashchuk, heads of OOO “IFAR” (V.A. Hazanov) and “SAVA” (A.S. Nikitin) companies, representatives of OOO “Nord Imperial”, OOO “Eskimos”, OOO “Artlife”, etc.

  In the course of the meeting Deputy Governor of Tomsk region for investment policy and property relations Y.M.Gurdin gave a welcoming speech. He outlined the investment potential of Tomsk region. President of Tomsk CCI A.Y. Eskin noted a number of Tomsk region successful innovative companies and overviewed the history of business relations between Tomsk and India entrepreneurs (since 2012 Tomsk CCI has organized five business trips to India and hosted the delegation of the Embassy of Indian Republic in Moscow). Representative of the Indian delegation Mr. Sawarkar Abhijat gave a thankful speech.

  The meeting concluded with bilateral talks between Indian delegation members and Tomsk region entrepreneurs.

  On the second day of the visit, December 6, 2016, there were meetings in Tomsk Special Economic Zone of Technical Innovation Type (SEZ). Indian businessmen visited residents of SEZ – OOO “Solagift” and OOO “MOIE Keramik-Implantate”. Then one part of the delegation visited operating plant OOO “Tomlesdrev”, where delegation members got acquainted with their production and held a meeting and negotiations with Director General A.M. Nachkebiya and experts on foreign economic activity and sales. After that, the Indian delegation visited poultry farm “Tomskaya”, where it held a meeting with head of foreign economic activity department of “Siberian Agrarian Group” G.P. Petrovich and with the head of commercial service of poultry farm “Tomskaya”, which is a part of this holding. Another part of the delegation visited OOO “IFAR”, where delegation members reached an agreement on conducting clinical trials of OOO “Fortune Med” products by OOO “IFAR” and registration support of Indian medicine in Russia.

  In the afternoon of December 6, 2016, the delegation visited Siberian State Medical University, where Vice-Rector for Development I.A. Deev, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work S.V. Gusakova and Head of International Cooperation Department M.A. Netaeva presented the opportunities of the university. Moreover, Mr. Sawarkar Abhijat held a meeting with Member of the Board of Directors of OOO “Nord Imperial” Mr. Pasala Krishna Rao and with Head of Oil and Gas Department of Tomsk region N.N. Ilyin, where they agreed to consider the possibility of the participation of Indian investors in Tomsk region oilfield development projects.

  The organization of the visit and its results were highly appreciated by Indian and Russian participants.

  The business visit of the Indian delegation was organized by Tomsk Regional Integrated Center (Tomsk CCI) with the support of Tomsk Region Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
