Tomsk CCI held a seminar on international trade within the EEU

On September 27, 2016 Tomsk CCI organized a seminar "Foreign economic activity within the Eurasian Economic Union".

  On September 27, 2016 Tomsk CCI with the support of the Regional Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development and Tomsk Regional Fund of Small and Medium Enterprises Development organized a seminar "Foreign economic activity within the Eurasian Economic Union".

  The lecturer was Petr Travinskiy, one of the leading expert practitioners in the field of foreign economic activity and logistics with 30-years’ experience, PhD in economics, an expert of the Russian Export Centre, a member of the working group at the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, an expert of the State Duma Committee for economic policy and entrepreneurship, the author and the lecturer of various educational programs on foreign trade. 

  18 representatives of Tomsk small and medium-sized companies participated in the seminar.

  Petr Travinskiy introduced basic agreements of the Common Economic Space, peculiarities of the EEU internal market, issues of goods export to the EEU countries and import from the EEU countries, issues of the transit trade between countries of the Economic Union without the importation into homeland territory, issues of tolling in the EEU countries, currency regulation and currency control of foreign trade transactions within the EEU.

  In addition, the participants discussed the prospects of the Union’s expansion and the issues of deals conclusion in the framework of the free trade zone between the EEU and Vietnam.
