Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises are presenting their production in Turkmenistan

Tomsk CCI with support of the Tomsk Region Administration, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Tomsk Regional Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund, organized a business mission of the small and medium business in Turkmenistan.

  The participants of the business mission to Ashgabat present the products of companies "Inkom", "Elecard", "Submikronnye technologii", "ITDrom.com" etc., the possibilities of Tomsk Polytechnic University and Siberian State Medical University.

  In the framework of the business program, Tomsk companies take part in the 10-th international exhibition "Turkmentel-2016". Among the participants of this exhibition there are Huawei, NEC, Lenovo, Nokia, Samsung, MTS-Turkmenistan, TM-Cell, the Turkmen enterprises of the telecommunications sector etc.

  On the first day of the visit to Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan A. V. Blokhin hosted the participants of the Tomsk delegation. During the meeting at the Embassy, Tomsk businessmen got acquainted with the perspectives of the development of bilateral relations, presented the production of their companies, told about the developing cooperation of Tomsk and Turkmen enterprises.

  "I see the high potential of participants of the Tomsk delegation. It is very important that by visiting Turkmenistan you make a noticeable contribution to the cooperation between regions of both countries. I am sure that the authority of Tomsk as a scientific and educational center, the rich history of your universities can be an important part of the development of mutually beneficial relations between our countries", - said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan Alexander Blokhin.

  On September 28, Tomsk companies took part in the official opening of the exhibition "Turkmentel-2016". The display stand of the Tomsk region was visited  by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Satlyk Satlykov, Minister of communication of Turkmenistan Bayramgeldi Ovezov, representatives of state agencies, heads of MTS-Turkmenistan, the representatives of the enterprises of the telecommunications sector.

  During presentations and negotiations, Tomsk companies received offers on establishment of mutually beneficial relations on the territory of Turkmenistan. The products of OOO "Submikronnye technologii" (GK MIСRAN) aroused interest of the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan; also the company received a proposal to consider the creation of a joint enterprise in Turkmenistan. Products of the company "Elecard" aroused interest of the leadership of MTS-Turkmenistan; programs of the company "ITDrom.com" were noted by the educational institutions of the country; solutions of the company "Inkom" were appreciated by the Ministry of communications, and representatives of the Turkmenistan Hydrometeorology Center.

  "We have a positive view of the perspectives of our cooperation with Turkmenistan, we see a good potential for mutually beneficial cooperation with enterprises and agencies. It's nice that the Turkmen side appreciates the potential of Tomsk development, notes the high authority of our universities, warmly welcomes the participation of Tomsk region in this event", -  said CEO of GK "Inkom" Dmitry Sonkin.

  Interest for the Tomsk delegation was shown not only by representatives of government agencies and business of Turkmenistan, but also by the local media. Stories about the participation of Tomsk companies in the business program of the forum, interviews with members of the delegations were broadcasted on several national TV channels of Turkmenistan.

  "It is important that by participating in this important for Turkmenistan event Tomsk region demonstrates a real interest in business development. Your companies worthily represent the potential of the region known not only in Russia but also abroad as a scientific, educational and innovative center of our country", - said Leonid Shadrin, the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan.

  The business mission of Tomsk companies in Turkmenistan will last until the October 01, 2016. In the second part of the business program Tomsk entrepreneurs will  meet with representatives of the Ministry of Railway Transport and the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, state corporations "Turkmenhimiya", "Turkmengaz", "Turkmenneft", "Turkmenneftegazstroy", the Committee of the fifth Asian games, and the representatives of Turkmen business.

  The business mission of Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises is organized in the framework of the entrepreneurship development program of Tomsk region and measures of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation for support of small and medium-sized enterprises.
