Vietnamese companies are visiting Tomsk enterprises for the development of business contacts

Following the talks and presentations during the business mission of Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises to Vietnam (cities Hanoy and Danang) held from 22 to 28 August 2016 the representatives of Vietnamese enterprises are visiting Tomsk on a return visit.

  On September 20, 2016, the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting of representatives of the Vietnamese large grocery retailer, company-importer of pork and poultry, with “Siberian Agrarian Group” (SAG) representatives. Tomsk entrepreneurs gave brief information about SAG and offered Vietnamese side the cooperation proposal. In their turn representatives of the Vietnamese side expressed interest in the production of the Russian company and provided information about the prospects of the Vietnamese market development and the peculiarities of entering trading networks with food production.

  Besides, during the visit of Tomsk companies to Vietnam, possibilities of business cooperation with Tomsk enterprises aroused interest of Mr. Nguyen Thanh, the Deputy General Director of “Petrosetco” and head of “Petrosetco” in Vung Tau city, who will visit Tomsk on 23 and 24 of September. The planned program of his visit includes meetings in the “Tomsk Shipping Company”, visiting shipyard in Samus village, and the meeting with Tomsk enterprises in Tomsk CCI.

  “Petrosetco” company is a subsidiary of “PetroVietnam» state oil company. It has major hulls production sites in Vung Tau and also provides oilfield services to oil and gas fields in Vietnam and Malaysia. Tomsk companies first met the representatives of this enterprise during the business mission of Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises to Vietnam in 2015.

  “Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the regional administration facilitates development of business contacts between Tomsk and Vietnamese entrepreneurs. Our previous business missions resulted in signing of several export contracts by Tomsk companies, some companies opened representative offices in Vietnam”, said Director of the Regional Center for Export Support of Tomsk CCI Alexander Belyaev.

  The business mission of Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises to Vietnam was organized by the Regional Center for Export Support of Tomsk CCI with the support of the Tomsk Regional Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund, the Regional Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
