Tomsk shared its experience in the development of the regional system of export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises support at All-Russian web-seminar with the participation of the Ministry of Economic Development and AO Russian Export Center

On September 16, 2016, the representatives of Tomsk CCI took part in the All-Russian webinar organized by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

  On September 16, 2016, the representatives of Tomsk CCI took part in the All-Russian webinar organized by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The webinar was dedicated to the development of export support system in regions using ‘single window’ concept.

  The seminar was led by Advisor to the President of CCI-Russia Georgiy Petrov. Among the participants there were Vice-President of CCI-Russia Vladimir Padalko, representatives of the Department of SMEs development (the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation), Director for Regional Development of the Russian Export Centre Igor Borisov, representatives of the Department of CCI Development, representatives of the Department of external relations and work with business councils (CCI-Russia) and representatives of more than 50 territorial CCIs.

  The main issues to discuss were the participation of territorial CCIs in the All-Rusian events aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises development and in the AO Russian Export Center’s program for the development of the regional export support infrastructure.

  With his opening statement Georgiy Petrov emphasized the need to use the CCI system’s potential for small and medium-sized enterprises’ export development and noted the positive experience of the regional export support systems development.

  The representatives of the Department of SMEs development (the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation) described the implementation of SMEs development program in year 2016, outlined directions for the cooperation with the CCI and tasks for year 2017.

  The representatives of the Russian Export Center shared the information about major directions for the infrastructure development with Center’s support, its tasks, targets, tools and perspective areas of cooperation with territorial CCIs.

  During the webinar-meeting Tomsk region represented its experience in the creation of the regional system for the development of SMEs’ non-resource export.

  In particular, Director of the Center for the Development of Foreign Economic Activity (Tomsk CCI) Aleksandr Belyaev informed the participants about activities of the Regional Export Support Center supported by the Administration of the Tomsk region, Tomsk Regional Fund of SME Development and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. He also told about successful export-oriented SMEs, which signed export contracts with the assistance of the Regional Export Support Center, and about SMEs development events in the framework of the entrepreneurship development program and competitions organized by the Ministry of Economic Development.

  At the end of the webinar President of Tomsk CCI Arkadiy Eskin initiated proposals to the Russian Export Centre and the Ministry of Economic Development on forms of regional export support infrastructure development based on the experience of Tomsk CCI.

  In the course of the discussion experts highly appreciated Tomsk region’s experience in SMEs development.
