Chinese businessmen are interested in cooperation with Tomsk entrepreneurs

Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Tomsk Region Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation organized a business mission of Tomsk SMEs to China.

In the framework of the business program members of the delegation held meetings and negotiations with the management of a number of Shanghai enterprises.

  In the course of the business program Tomsk delegation visited Shanghai Siyuan Printing & Packing Co. (package production), Shanghai Canature Environmental Products Co. (production of water purification systems, coolers and fireplaces) and the ice cream factory which sells its products in airports, high-speed trains, and through a café network.

  A number of companies ("Prompolimer", "MFO Componenty") after the exchange of contacts also held promising negotiations with Chinese partners directly at enterprises.

  The solutions of company NPF "Alev", which can be used in Chinese enterprises, aroused great interest of Chinese side.

  The large Chinese trade network expressed interest in Tomsk ice cream; the company "Ferment" also continues detailed negotiations with Chinese companies. Chinese entrepreneurs showed interest in Tomsk production and noted that its quality and price are competitive with the products imported from Europe.

  Today Tomsk delegation met with deputy head of the Shanghai Co-Way International Technology Transfer Centre (an analogue of Tomsk Special Economic Zone) Jacob Young and experts of the center. In the course of presentations and negotiations the Chinese side noted the potential of Tomsk companies by expressing interest in cooperation with enterprises of our region.

  "Tomsk delegation showed interesting developments, which can find partners in Shanghai. Also we are interested in the educational and innovative potential of your region. We are ready to develop contacts with the Tomsk business, using the potential of Tomsk CCI and our innovation support infrastructure. We are ready to arrive to Tomsk on a return visit next year", - said deputy head of the Shanghai Co-Way International Technology Transfer Centre Jacob Young.

  The business mission of Tomsk SMEs was organized by Tomsk Regional Integrated Center of Tomsk CCI in the framework of the Tomsk regional entrepreneurship development program and within the scope of activities on entrepreneurship support carried out by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
