Tomsk CCI hosted a seminar on current peculiarities of operating in the European markets

Last week the Center for Development of Foreign Economic Activity (Tomsk CCI), in the framework of the activity of the regional Coordination Center for support export-oriented SMEs, organized an online seminar dedicated to current peculiarities of operating in the European markets.

Inna Armstrong (Germany) and Daria Recker (Ireland) were leading speakers. Inna Armstrong is an expert with 15-years’ practical experience in a field of international cooperation and negotiation with business partners in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, China and Japan, a founder and CEO of NeuVenture Global (Germany), a co-author of more than 30 seminar and webinar programs on foreign economic activity, an expert and an author of articles for the portal "Russian Exports". Daria Recker is an expert in international sales and marketing, a specialist in setting up and developing startups by the method of bootstrapping, a Member of the Irish Association of consultants and the owner of several businesses.

The seminar was attended by 18 people representing 15 subjects of small and medium business of the Tomsk region.

During the seminar participants got acquainted with the dynamics of the foreign trade turnover between Russia and the EU, the development of company’s export strategy and evaluating its export potential on the European market, methods and forms of entering the foreign market, step-by-step algorithm of working with business partners in the EU countries, ways of establishing business contacts with the help of modern techniques and practices, and the creation of a competitive business profile on the Internet as well.

The seminar was held in interactive mode and the participants received professional detailed answers to their questions.

 The seminar was held within the framework of the regional business development program with the support of the Tomsk Regional Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund, Tomsk Region Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
