Tomsk CCI hosted seminar “Foreign economic activity for accountants”

On June 30, 2016 the Center for Development of Foreign Economic Activity (Tomsk CCI), supported by Tomsk Regional Small and Medium Enterprise Development Fund, Regional Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation held a seminar named “Foreign economic activity for accountants” for Tomsk SMEs.

There were 27 participants representing 18 Tomsk SMEs.

Before an audience spoke Olga Korpacheva, an expert with 20 years of work experience in the field of finance and accounting, the chairman of the Foreign economic activity and Customs Committee of Novosibirsk regional office of the Nation public organization of small and medium business "Support of Russia", a professional accountant certified by the Institute of professional accountants of Russia, IFRS professional financial manager, an auditor certified by the Institute of Internal Auditors of the Russian Federation, Director of OOO "ProfUchet".

Olga Korpacheva represented to participants of the seminar some issues of currency control in foreign economic activity, accounting and tax accounting of import of goods, specifics of export operations, filling of VAT returns in terms of export operations, responsibility for violations of exchange control.

The lecturer also showed a review of letters of the Russian Ministry of Finance on foreign trade, which entered into force after January 1, 2016, and described their application in practice.

The seminar was organized within the framework of the Coordination Center for support of export-oriented Tomsk SMEs.
