Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized Chinese businessmen’s visit

In the current week the Integrated Regional Center Tomsk organized the visit of Chinese business delegation. The program of visit included round table on sci-tech cooperation and technology transfer and В2В-meetings between Chinese and Tomsk innovating enterprises.

  Participants of the event, which took place on June 6th in the engineering building of Tomsk SEZ, became more than 50 representatives of Tomsk and Chinese business, regional administration, Tomsk CCI, Tomsk business development infrastructure.

  The round table was opened by head of Tomsk Region Investment Department A. Fedchenko. In his speech he presented the history of relations between Tomsk and China reckoning almost 400 years and modern dynamics in economics relations between Tomsk Chinese business. Also Alexander Fedchenko noted that the development of Tomsk and Chinese business relations is one of priorities of foreign economic activity of Tomsk region.

  Then director of Tomsk CCI Center of Business Development A. Gumilevsky acquainted event participants with examples of successful Russian-Chinese cooperation in Tomsk and also told about Tomsk CCI’s activity in supporting regional enterprises to entry foreign markets.

  Chinese delegation was represented by Heads of the Jiangsu Provincial International Exchange Center companies, medical, biotechnological, energy-saving technologies, vibration control technology and environmental management enterprises. Among the Tomsk participants there were OOO “IPHAR”, OOO “Benoa”, ZAO “Dyuny”, OOO “AquaVallis”, OOO “TPSK” and others. Representatives of National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University and Siberian State Medical University also took part in the meeting.

  In the afternoon, Tomsk and Chinese entrepreneurs conducted presentations and B2B negotiations as well.

  On the next day, June 6th, within the framework of the business program Chinese enterprisers visited production sites of two Tomsk enterprises, namely OOO “Artlife” (producer of BAA and healthy food) and OOO “IPHAR” (drug development), where they continued negotiations with Tomsk enterprisers. “Our goal is to find partners, who can cooperate with Chinese companies, and to find new technologies, that can be implemented in the industry”, said Li Lianying, the Jiangsu Provincial International Exchange Center.

  “This is the fourth visit of enterprisers from Jiangsu Province in Tomsk. This year we have more areas of cooperation. I would like to note the interest of Chinese visitors to developments of our innovative companies which are the leaders of various technology areas. As a result of bilateral negotiations a number of cooperation agreements with Tomsk companies were attained, and also we received an invitation to a return visit”, said Alexander Gumilevsky, Tomsk CCI.

  The visit of Chinese delegation was organized within the framework of Integrated Regional Center Tomsk of Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with Tomsk Region Development Corporation under the auspices of Tomsk Region Administration and Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
