Tomsk CCI hosted a workshop on international logistics

On June 22 The Center for Development of Foreign Economic Activity, Tomsk CCI, in a framework of activity of the coordination center for support of export-oriented SMEs organized the workshop named “International freight forwarding and international logistics”.

  On June 22 The Center for Development of Foreign Economic Activity, Tomsk CCI, in a framework of activity of the coordination center for support of export-oriented SMEs organized the workshop named “International freight forwarding and international logistics”.

  A Guest lecturer was Andrey Golubchik (Moscow), candidate of economic sciences, Doctor of Business Administration, professor of Russian Foreign Trade Academy by The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, renowned expert in the field of expediting, transport services, foreign economic activity, international and domestic transport law, author of over 120 scientific and practical publications in Russian and foreign literature.

  The workshop was attended by 18 representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Tomsk region.

  The workshop participants got acquainted with the legal basis of transport maintenance of foreign economic activities, ways of goods delivery to international markets, the right choice of goods delivery scheme and the term Incoterms, basic rules of cargo contracts conclusion, shipping documents. Much attention was paid to the cargo insurance, features of the cargo insurance in the case of carriage by rail, road, air.

  “I liked the workshop, the lecturer was very good. Each part of the workshop was carefully considered and included examples of correct solutions for logistics”, said Galina Belaya, chief of foreign economic activity department, OOO “Tomsky Instrument”.

  The workshop was held within the framework of the regional business development program with support of the Regional Development Fund of Small and Medium Enterprises, Tomsk region administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
