Wound healing bandages manufactured by a Tomsk company will be sold in India

Last week an exclusive distribution agreement between resident of Tomsk SEZ «AquaVallis» and Indian company «Optimed Sales and Distribution Network Private Limited» was signed.

  Last week an exclusive distribution agreement between resident of Tomsk SEZ «AquaVallis» and Indian company «Optimed Sales and Distribution Network Private Limited» was signed.

  «Optimed Sales and Distribution Network Private Limited» is a representative of a solid company that supplies medical goods in India, Malaysia and Singapore. According to the agreement the Indian company will purchase several hundreds of thousands wound healing bandages produced by Tomsk enterprise. 

  This agreement is the result of meetings and negotiations held by representatives of OOO «AquaVallis» during business missions organized by the Coordination Center for support of export-oriented SMEs of Regional Development Fund of Small and Medium Enterprises with the support of Tomsk Region Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. 

  «We have been observing Indian market for a long time and have held many negotiation with Indian businessmen during business missions. For our company the agreement with Indian partners will open the access to one of the largest markets in the world», said director of «AquaVallis» Natalya Kirillova.

  The development of cooperation is carried out between Tomsk and Indian entrepreneurs within the regional Entrepreneurship Development Program and activity of Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. In 2012 – 2016 under the auspices of Tomsk Region Administration, Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in India and the Ministry of Economic Development the were organized business missions of Tomsk SMEs in Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat and Kerala.

  The high potential of Tomsk developments and innovations was repeatedly noted by Yaroslav Tarasyuk, the Trade commissioner of Russian Federation in India.
