Tomsk experience of export-oriented business support was represented at the All-Russian Forum on the Day of the Russian Entrepreneurship

On May 26, 2016, Tomsk CCI President Arkadiy Eskin represented Tomsk Region’s experience of export-oriented small and medium business support at the All-Russian Forum in “Expocentre” (Moscow).

  On May 26, 2016, Tomsk CCI President Arkadiy Eskin represented Tomsk Region’s experience of export-oriented small and medium business support at the All-Russian Forum in “Expocentre” (Moscow).

  The Forum was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation, and Central Exhibition Complex “Expocentre”.

  This business forum brought together representatives of federal ministries, regional CCIs, business support infrastructure, banks, federal development institutions, directors and specialists of Russian companies. Besides, the Forum was attended by directors and experts of Russian and foreign business support infrastructure organizations-members of the Enterprise Europe Network.

  During the plenary session named “Develop the country by industry development” Russian CCI President Sergey Katyrin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Anatoliy Aksakov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Oleg Fomichev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Georgiy Kalamanov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sergey Levin, Deputy Head of Federal Antimonopoly Service Andrey Tsuganov, Deputy Head of Sberbank Andrey Sharov, President of “Opora of Russia” Alexandr Kalinin, and companies directors exchange their opinions on actual situation and perspectives of small and medium business development in Russia. Among the perspective directions were named international markets entry opportunities for potential and active exporters.

  After the plenary session there was the discussion “Export support: to know, to use and to achieve success” moderated by G. Petrov (Advisor of the Russian CCI President) and focused on approaches and results of export support measures. Among the discussion participants there were Vice-president of Russian CCI Vladimir Padalko, Kirill Emelyanov (Department of SME and competition development, Ministry of Economic Development), Boris Igoshin (Russian Export Centre), Viktor Ermakov (Russian Agency of SME Support), and other famous experts in the field of foreign economic activity. By organizers’ invitation, Tomsk CCI President Arkadiy Eskin made a report about Tomsk Region’s export support infrastructure.

  In his speech, the President of Tomsk CCI described services provided by Regional Integrated Center and Regional Coordination Center for export-oriented SMEs Support, told about approaches to business missions organization and cooperation with Russian Trade Representations and Russian CCI representations abroad.

  During the discussion, Tomsk experience of the development of regional export-oriented business support system was highly appreciated by specialists.
