Tomsk entrepreneurs held presentations and conducted negotiations on the Kazakhstan biggest manufacturing enterprise

  On 30 March, 2016 Tomsk entrepreneurs visited metallurgical complex “ArcelorMittal” in Temirtau as a part of the business mission’s program to Kazakhstan.

  “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” is the biggest company of mining and smelting sector in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is an integrated mining and smelting enterprise with its own coal and iron stone reserves and electric power base. Enterprise specialize in the manufacture of flat and long products with polymer, zinc and galvalume coating, it also produces sinter, ore concentrate, coke, iron, steel products including continuously cast slabs, strips, flat bar frame rails, electric-weld pipe and associated equipment for blast-furnace and coke and by-product process. “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” is a part of “ArcelorMittal” corporation, the world steel production leader. “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” is also a main employer enterprise with more than 12 000 employees.

  Participants of Tomsk business mission held a number of meetings in the manufacturing departments of the complex: energy, electricity, blast-furnace departments and laboratories. Delegation participants had an opportunity to observe the process of lava gathering from the hot blast furnace.

  In the afternoon Tomsk entrepreneurs conducted negotiations with the heads of the engineering service of the complex: head of supply service processes improvement department, Anton Rylov, head of the electric equipment and spare parts office of the supply service power equipment department, Denis Gusenkov, head of the general plant equipment office of the supply service, Gennadiy Brezhnev.

  Tomsk entrepreneurs presented their products and services, answered to the questions of Kazakhstan enterprise’s specialists, which pointed out prospects for the implementation of high technology products of the Tomsk companies.

  Representatives of the metallurgical complex showed their interest to the production of “Metallist” and “Toflex” cables of “Tomskcable”.

  Besides, new operation automation decisions also attracted much interest, especially mining elevators maintenance of “EleSy-Pro” company.
