Tomsk companies in Mongolia: high potential of innovations and interesting business proposals

From 5 to 9 April, 2016 the delegation of Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises was working in Mongolia (in Ulaanbaatar and Erdenet).

  From 5 to 9 April, 2016 the delegation of Tomsk small and medium-sized enterprises was working in Mongolia (in Ulaanbaatar and Erdenet).

  The business mission of Tomsk enterprises in the neighboring country was organized by Tomsk CCI with the support of the Tomsk Region's Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development.

  In the framework of this business mission products and services of ten Tomsk companies, including Tomskcable Ltd, Tomsk Mills JSC, Submicron Technologies Ltd, Food Factory RusLana Ltd, EC Geosphere Ltd, Penoplast Ltd, Teploservis-T Ltd and others, were presented to the Mongolian organizations.

  The central part of the first day of this business trip was the B2B meeting of Russian and Mongolian companies held on 5 April at the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the event Tomsk entrepreneurs conducted more than 60 talks with the Mongolian business and governing institutions.

  Products and services of Tomsk enterprises, the opportunities of Tomsk universities, research organizations and SEZ Tomsk aroused interest of the Mongolian participants. The products of Submicron Technologies Ltd (Micran) attracted interest of the Mongolian National Emergency Management Agency and telecommunication companies; the products of Tomskcable Ltd were highly estimated by industrial enterprises; also a great interest was taken in food products, in particular, those of Tomsk Mills JSC.

  "Tomsk companies demonstrate quality products and interesting solutions for our industry. Note should be made of the high potential of Tomsk innovations which can be used in our country as well. Of particular interest are the products of Submicron Technologies Ltd and Tomskcable Ltd which are suitable for the environmental conditions of Mongolia", said the vice-president of the Mongolian National CCI Business Council for Cooperation with the Russian Federation Zh. Zhargalsaykhan.

  Next meetings in the framework of the business trip the Tomsk delegation held at large Mongolian industrial and telecommunication companies of Mongolia. Siberian businessmen presented their products at one of the Asia's largest mining companies Erdenet MPC, at Mongolian Railway SOSC, Mongolrostsvetmet LLC, Ulaanbaatar Electric Distribution Network Company, at leading mobile operating companies (Mobicom, Unitel), Monretrans LLC and others.

  "Tomsk CCI has organized a meeting with the Mongolian partners at the highest level once again. We have met companies really interested in cooperation with Russian companies. The Mongolian market is highly interesting for our company, and I hope we will find various options for business development in this country", said Yegor Ilyin, Micran RPC.

  The perspective of Tomsk proposals was also confirmed by the meeting with the Minister of Industry of Mongolia Mr. Dongdogdorzh Erdenbat who noted the high level of Tomsk innovations and promised to assist in the development of cooperation between Tomsk and Mongolian companies.

  The Embassy of Russia in Mongolia also noted that the Tomsk delegation has prepared a wide range of interesting proposals for the Mongolian side which were in high demand in this country these days.

  "The potential and presentations introduced by the Tomsk delegation allow to be proud of Russian industrial and innovative enterprises. Tomsk proved its high level of scientific and industrial development", said Balta Dagbain, the counselor of the Embassy of Russia in Mongolia.

  The business mission of Tomsk companies was organized in the framework of the regional program of business development.
