In the framework of business mission to Indian state Kerala Tomsk businessmen met with the head the of region

On the first day of business mission of Tomsk SMEs to state Kerala delegates and Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in India Yaroslav Tarasyuk visited National Center of Biotechnologies named after Rajiv Gandhi where Tomsk companies presented their developments to the center direction and lines managers, attended a number of center laboratories.

Indian colleagues were interested in the developments of Tomsk companies Iphar Ltd, SMET Ltd, Aqvelite Ltd, MFO-Komponenty Ltd (Alphatech Group). Meaningful negotiations were planned during the future events of business program in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi.

  Meetings and presentation of Tomsk companies took place in Russian Center of Science and Culture. During this meeting the head of the center Honorary consul of Russia in Thiruvananthapuram Mr. Ratish Nair highly appreciated the potential of the cooperation of Tomsk and Kerala companies.

  In the afternoon Tomsk delegation together with the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in India, Honorary consul of Russia in Thiruvananthapuram and the head of Indian company-organizer Dr.Abhilash Pillai was received by Chief Minister of Kerala state Mr. Oommen Chandy and Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and IT Mr. P.H.Kurian. During the presentation of Tomsk companies delegates and representatives of State Government came to agreement to work through the projects in the field of medicine, pharmacy, IT, application of new solutions and water cleaning cooperation.

  The Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in India Yaroslav Tarasyuk noted good outlook for development of cooperation in the field of high technologies and IT sector between Tomsk region and Kerala State.

  Business mission is organized by Regional Center of Export Support of Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of Tomsk Region's Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development and Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in India under the regional program of business development.
