Business trip of Tomsk small and medium enterprises (SME) to Omsk and Tyumen

On the 15-21th of March, 2015, a business trip of Tomsk export-oriented subjects of small and medium enterprises to Omsk and Tyumen was organized.

  On the 15-21th of March, 2015, a business trip of Tomsk export-oriented subjects of small and medium enterprises to Omsk and Tyumen was organized.

  Organizers of the trip were Enterprise Europe Network – Tomsk Regional Center and Export Support Center of Tomsk CCI together with Omsk CCI and Tyumen CCI with the assistance of Department of industry and entrepreneurial development of the Tomsk Region and Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

  In the course of business program in Omsk, participants of Tomsk delegation took part in the exchange of contacts arranged by Omsk CCI. More than 50 Omsk companies were engaged in negotiations. 

  As the result of the meetings, representatives of some Tomsk companies continued negotiations directly on the territory of the interested Omsk enterprises. Moreover, Tomsk delegation visited an exhibition of Siberian industrial-innovative forum “PROMTEKHEKSPO-2015”.

  In the exchange of contacts for Tomsk companies, which was also organized in Tyumen, participated more than 30 representatives of Tyumen enterprises. Negotiations were arranged in Tyumen technological park, where presentations of companies of both sides were held as well as individual negotiations with residents of technological park.

  A conference on interregional and border cooperation with Republic of Kazakhstan was also held in Tyumen. During the conference there was arranged a round-table meeting with such key topics as economic status and investment potential of the Tyumen Region, special aspects of cooperation with Republic of Kazakhstan.

  Tyumen experts marked a big interest in collaboration with the Tomsk Region, in particular, applying of Tomsk scientific research results in join business operations, setting up and development of joint venture companies within the territory of the Tyumen Region. Representatives of Tyumen business shared their experience in cooperation with Kazakhstan.

  In the result of the business trip, Tomsk delegates sign two agreements of intent. In addition, at the present time a number of Tomsk companies are conducting negotiations with Omsk and Tyumen enterprises about the possibility of further cooperation.
